Operation Colorado
Spalding University cross country athletes have BIG plans for 2012. Abram Deng and Alec Zaremba are organizing a summer trip that would leave them and a few other teammates in the mountains of Colorado for 6-8 weeks training for their final season of collegiate cross country.
One Goal: To qualify for the 2012 NCAA DIII National Championships to be held in Terre Haute, IN.
The Spalding University athletic program will emerge from a provisional NCAA membership status for the 2012-13 year and the Golden Eagle harriers have been building a program that will suprise many teams next fall. Help them and three others on their quest to live, train and become one in the mountains of Colorado this summer.
They need to purchase some sort of RV or camper and have funds to pay for items like gasoline, nightly camp-site fees, food and more. Give and let them experience it.
Make a gift to support the efforts of a few guys trying to put a small college on the map with running.
