Outdoor Lifestyle Coaching
Find the outdoor activities that fit your interests and ability. Learn where to go, which local clubs or groups to explore, how to meet people, what gear you truly need, and how to make getting outside a regular habit.
Want to spend more time outdoors but not sure where to begin? I help individuals and families find activities, connect with local communities, choose the right gear, learn practical skills, and turn a desire for adventure into a real part of everyday life.
Through Tree of Life Counseling Center
Whether you’re discovering a new activity or want someone to handle the work of a camping trip, we can shape an outdoor experience around you. You don’t need an outdoorsy friend group or all the answers to begin. For men rebuilding routines around sobriety, fathers looking for meaningful time with their children, or anyone finding their footing after a life change, getting involved can offer a practical place to begin.
Find the outdoor activities that fit your interests and ability. Learn where to go, which local clubs or groups to explore, how to meet people, what gear you truly need, and how to make getting outside a regular habit.
Try bikepacking, kayaking, or your first family outdoor adventure with personalized preparation and practical coaching. For camping, choose a premium, white-glove experience with exceptional meals, gear transport, and the work of camp handled for you. Learn as much as you like while enjoying time outside.
Work toward your first sprint triathlon, prepare to complete your first ultramarathon, get comfortable with beginner-level endurance training, improve your golf fundamentals with coaching on the range or course, or build skills through youth baseball lessons. The goal is confidence, participation, and steady progress.
Starting a new hobby or lifestyle can mean facing more products, upgrades, and competing advice than you know what to do with. I bring product knowledge and local connections to help simplify the buying process: understand what you need to get started, compare practical options, and choose equipment that fits your goals and budget. In a marketplace that encourages constant consumption, we can distinguish useful purchases from unnecessary extras—so buying gear supports your participation instead of becoming another barrier.

A memorable camping trip should feel like time away. I bring thoughtful, hands-on service to the outdoors—exceptional food, a welcoming campsite, and the practical details taken care of—so you can settle in, enjoy nature, and be present with the people you love. For fathers and families, that can mean more time sharing a meal, exploring, and making memories together.
Good meals are a highlight of the trip, not an afterthought. Enjoy thoughtfully planned, prepared meals and time around the table without spending your getaway managing the cooking and cleanup. We’ll discuss meal preferences and dietary needs while planning.
Gear transport, campsite setup, trip logistics, campfire and firewood management, and cleanup: we’ll agree on the details in advance, and I’ll handle the work so you can enjoy the experience. Campfires depend on local rules and conditions.
New to camping? Bring your curiosity, ask questions, and build confidence at your own pace. Already know your way around a campsite? You can still appreciate having someone else do the work while you focus on nature, family, friends, and the simple pleasure of being outside.
Each camping experience is planned together, with services, meals, gear arrangements, and logistics agreed in advance. Transport arrangements cover gear only.
Plan Your Camping ExperienceBring your team, church, or community together outdoors. Ask about group rates for team-building outings, church retreats, family gatherings, and other group experiences. We’ll shape the activities, meals, and camping arrangements around your group’s goals, comfort level, and time together—so you can focus on connection while I handle the agreed trip details.
Group pricing is quoted individually based on group size, trip length, location, and services.

I bridge the gap between wanting to get outside and knowing how to do it. From researching local opportunities and building a practical gear list to sharing the first experience, I help people establish the confidence, relationships, and routines to keep going.
There is also room for play: trying something new, laughing with other people, and rediscovering an interest you thought you had outgrown. “I feel like a kid again” captures the spirit I value—curiosity and enjoyment alongside the responsibilities of adult life.
Tell me what interests you: being outside more, meeting people, trying a new sport, planning an outdoor family experience, or building a healthier routine.
We’ll identify accessible places and groups, discuss beginner-friendly equipment, and build a plan based on your goals and comfort level.
We can practice basics, prepare for your first outing, or explore together, then create a realistic path to keep you active and connected independently.
Outdoor Coaching can stand on its own or complement one-on-one Life Coaching through Tree of Life. Life Coaching also often takes place outside—through walk-and-talk planning, Coffee in the Woods, sunrise or sunset mindfulness, and hiking sessions at local parks. Explore that approach for work on direction, relationships, routines, or a transition.
